Our team believes Australians deserve honest, detailed information before paying for a meditation subscription. The market is crowded and marketing claims are often vague. Our job is to cut through the noise with hands-on testing and clear, comparative reporting.
Our Editorial Team
Sophie has practised mindfulness meditation for over a decade and holds a Graduate Certificate in Positive Psychology from the University of Melbourne. She has tested more than 40 wellness and meditation apps since 2019 and leads all editorial decisions at Luminousjoints. Our Editorial Standards
Every app in our comparison is tested by a real person using a real account for a minimum of 30 days. We purchase subscriptions with our own funds wherever possible. We do not accept free access, promotional codes, or other benefits from apps in exchange for coverage or favourable reviews.
Rankings are determined by our 12-criterion scoring framework, applied consistently to every app. Criteria are weighted to reflect what Australian users tell us matters most: content quality, sleep features, pricing, and beginner-friendliness rank highest.
